Your Role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team, focusing on managing and growing our top-tier customer relationships across Rugby Union and Soccer in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. As a Sr. Account Executive, you’ll:

  • Lead top-tier customer growth and expansion. You’ll manage a high-value portfolio of elite Rugby Union and Soccer accounts, establishing a network that allows you to deepen existing partnerships and secure new flagship clients.
  • Focus on people. You’ll work in a consultative manner to build deep relationships with senior executives, technical directors, and performance staff across top-tier clubs and governing bodies, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their sporting goals and market dynamics.
  • Work toward ambitious goals. You’ll achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets - including revenue growth, retention, and upselling - while generating new business pipelines and closing strategic deals. You can qualify efficiently and effectively to manage your pipeline consistently.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates based in Sydney. Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in our Sydney office.

Must-Haves

  • Rugby Union and Soccer industry knowledge. You have a strong understanding of the rugby union and soccer landscape in Australia, with the proven ability to navigate multi-stakeholder relationships within top-tier clubs and federations.
  • An excellent communicator. You work confidently with everyone from executive leadership to end users, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Proactive and data-driven. You don't wait for direction to reach out to key clients. You monitor account usage metrics and market trends, bringing the courage and tenacity to own full client growth and retention cycles.
  • Organised and high-volume capable. You can handle multiple strategic conversations across different channels and accounts while maintaining a clear commitment to sales frameworks like MEDDICC to qualify opportunities.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experienced in high-value account management. You’ve worked in sales, enterprise account management, or customer success—ideally within a sports or SaaS environment.
  • Hudl product knowledge. You’re familiar with the Hudl ecosystem and can showcase the value of our analysis, scouting, and video tools to top-tier teams.
  • Analytical mindset. You’re comfortable diving into metrics to identify expansion opportunities, retention risks, and overall account health.
  • Connected in elite sport. You have a robust network across top-tier soccer clubs, rugby unions, and sporting organizations.
  • SaaS and Customer Success best practices. You understand modern sales methodologies and customer success strategies to maximize value and adoption for our key accounts.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you flexibility in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time above statutory leave, company-wide holidays, meeting-free days) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your accounts and have the agency to try new strategy ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development with dedicated resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. Whether you’re at our Sydney office or working remotely, we’ll provide the technology and workspace you need to do your best work.
  • Support your wellbeing. We offer comprehensive medical, retirement, and wellness benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program and employee resource groups.
