Ice Miller is seeking summer associates to join our Philadelphia office in the private equity, M&A, and leveraged finance practices.

 

Ice Miller’s summer associate program includes:

  • Opportunities to develop direct working relationships with our attorneys to enhance your research, writing, and presentation skills,

  • Guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback,

In addition to excellent academic credentials, we seek summer associates who:

  • Excel in a team environment,
  • Demonstrate leadership skills,
  • Have prior work experience, including legal, military, or service industry experience,
  • Are curious, motivated, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments,
  • Manage their time and their projects diligently, and
  • Have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff, and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own.

 

All applicants must:

  • Have permanent authorization to work in the United States,
  • Have obtained an undergraduate degree and are enrolled in the JD class of 2027 at an accredited law school, and
  • In Philadelphia, we only hire students for our transactional practice and have a strong preference for undergraduate degrees in business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, or economics or other business-focused studies or experience.

Philadelphia compensation for this role is $3,990 weekly.
