Job Summary

We are seeking Software Product Manager with experience in ERP software product domain to lead our product vision, strategy, and execution within our various domains.  This role is pivotal in driving innovative software solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, efficient team collaboration, and customer satisfaction. As a Product Manager, you will manage cross-functional teams, including offshore teams in India and the Philippines, and play a key role in delivering high-quality software features and product maintenance. Provides assessments, evaluations, coordinating, and integrating the various stages of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through execution.

 This role is integral to the ongoing success and retention of the customers with iRely. This includes four key areas: Product development, Product quality and support, Continuous improvement, and Industry and domain

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

  • Position is fulltime and onsite at our Irving TX office - candidates must be local to the Dallas /Fort Worth area
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

 

  • Gather, understand, and document customers' business needs by directly engaging the customers or working with implementation teams.
  • Create functional and technical designs (including use cases, mockups, process and data flow diagrams, etc.), provide estimates of efforts, and create Statement of Work for customer approval.
  • Guide offshore teams to ensure development is completed per requirements, on time, meeting performance benchmarks, and with quality.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure seamless software integration.
  • Ensure product-related documentation and training material are properly created and promptly updated. Provide training during new team members onboarding and when new features are delivered.
  • Engage outside business partners for 3rd party integration. Product quality and support
  • Take ownership of product quality. Identify factors impacting quality and mitigate potential risks.
  • Leverage internal programs to deliver product features of the highest quality.
  • Serve as an escalation point or directly engage in customer support issues. Deliver resolution per Service Level Agreement.
  • Embrace our Continuous Improvement culture in all aspects of product management: feature sets, quality, utilization, competitiveness in the marketplace, customer success, etc.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve customer success throughout sales and go live process, and on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain focus on reducing support issues. Eliminate product bugs and reduce training-related issues by providing intuitive feature sets.
  • Guide offshore teams to estimation skills to provide more accurate capacity needs.
  • Grow offshore teams to advance their technical, analytic, and leadership skills.

Industry and domain

  • Under the guidance of Business Unit Leader, we move the product forward based on company vision and industry trends.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Requires 50% Travel to client sites in the US
  • Strong understanding of Logistics
  • Develop strong customer ties and feedback loop.
  • Develop a base understanding of pricing and competitive landscape in product offerings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar.
  • 5+ years of Product Manager experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis or relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Domain experiences desired: Petroleum Wholesale Distribution, Dispatching, Logistics
  • Experience in ERP system development or implementation desired
  • Experience in MS SQL is strongly desired.
  • Experience in a programming role desired
  • Experience in a software company desired
  • Position is fulltime and onsite at our Irving TX office
