Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst (6328)

itD is seeking a Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst to support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of incentive compensation programs for a global sales organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in sales compensation administration and analysis, exceptional attention to detail, and a track record of accurately managing complex compensation processes in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Fully Remote — Anywhere in the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and administer incentive compensation accurately and timely for a global sales organization.

  • Partner with Sales Operations to process compensation credit adjustments, retroactive changes, and related inquiries.

  • Analyze and resolve commission questions while providing reporting and ad hoc analytical support.

  • Streamline, automate, and continuously improve end-to-end sales compensation processes.

  • Partner with Sales Operations to maintain and deploy annual compensation plans across global markets.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation while supporting strong internal controls and compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support control evaluations and audit procedures.

  • Build strong working relationships with Sales, Finance, Accounting, IT, and HR teams while providing responsive support to internal customers.

Internal Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.

  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.

  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).

  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.

  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).

  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales compensation administration, accounting, finance, or a related function.

  • Working knowledge of sales compensation processes and analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and process changes.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience administering complex sales incentive compensation plans.

  • Experience with Salesforce.

  • Experience with Xactly Incent or a similar sales compensation application.

  • Experience supporting internal controls, management control evaluations, or external audits.

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and HR teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
