We're looking for a Senior Customer Analytics Manager (Cross-Functional Strategic Analytics) to be part of our Analytics team.

The team:

Analytics is part of the Strategy & Analytics department, our internal consulting team - they’re the decision support mechanism that connects data & business insights with the rest of the organization. In essence, Analytics is a central function that exists to drive business outcomes in all corners of Jobber’s ecosystem.

The role: 

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Analytics, the Senior Customer Analytics Manager (Cross-Functional Strategic Analytics) will lead high-impact analytical initiatives that support Jobber’s most critical strategic priorities. Sitting within the Cross-Functional Strategic Analytics pod, this role will collaborate across departments, including Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders, to drive data-informed decisions that fuel sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of business acumen and advanced analytical expertise to uncover actionable insights and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. They will evaluate strategic opportunities and provide recommendations that optimize customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and revenue growth. This includes leading analytical work that supports pricing strategy, monetization initiatives, and other high-impact business decisions.

As Jobber continues to scale, this role will be instrumental in shaping our growth strategy by identifying key business improvement opportunities and delivering critical insights that empower cross-functional teams.

The Senior Customer Analytics Manager (Cross-Functional Strategic Analytics) will drive:

Strategic Analytics & Insights

  • Act as a strategic thought partner and internal consultant to teams across the organization by providing actionable insights that inform business strategy and optimize customer outcomes.
  • Proactively conduct deep-dive and exploratory analyses to uncover trends, evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and surface opportunities for growth, efficiency, and enhanced customer engagement.
  • Conduct pricing and monetization analyses to inform strategy, evaluate trade-offs, and drive data-informed decisions on packaging, value delivery, and revenue optimization.
  • Translate complex business questions into analytical projects and develop high-impact recommendations that influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of key strategies and initiatives, using data to assess impact, measure success, and continuously refine approach.
  • Identify, define, and track success metrics and KPIs aligned to business objectives and growth priorities.

Experimentation & Advanced Analytics

  • Support experimentation initiatives by contributing to A/B test design, success measurement, and post-test analysis to evaluate customer engagement strategies and product or marketing initiatives.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques such as scenario analysis, impact evaluation, simulation modelling, and predictive analytics to assess strategic opportunities and inform long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team on more complex modeling and machine learning initiatives that extend the impact of strategic analytics.

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives, translate them into analytical solutions, and ensure alignment and buy-in through strong communication and storytelling.
  • Develop and present insights, dashboards, and strategic recommendations in business reviews, leadership forums, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to define data and reporting requirements, improve data accessibility, and scale analytical capabilities across the organization.

Enablement & Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to the evolution of analytics practices at Jobber by promoting best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, streamline analysis, and enable scalable, repeatable approaches.
  • Drive a culture of data curiosity by exploring innovative ideas, metrics, or techniques that improve insight quality and business understanding.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts within the Customer Analytics team, supporting their development and the broader team’s analytical maturity.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Expert-level SQL skills, with the ability to work efficiently across complex relational data structures; experience with Python is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, with a focus on creating clear, compelling, and actionable visual narratives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in foundational and advanced analytics techniques, including performance measurement, exploratory analysis, scenario analysis, impact evaluation, simulation modelling, and predictive analytics, with the ability to apply these methods to solve complex business problems, assess strategic opportunities, and inform high-impact decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to define initiatives and develop high-impact analytical proposals.
  • A passion for storytelling through data, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear and influential insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to contribute thought leadership that elevates strategic thinking and fosters a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and adaptability in solving open-ended business problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines and navigate ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • A solid understanding of SaaS business models and associated metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to team capability development.

Compensation:

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $151,200, a midpoint of $177,900, and a maximum salary of $204,500, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
