Strategy Coordinator

Purpose 

The Strategy Coordinator role is responsible for performing a full range of administrative duties for the Chief Strategy Officer and department-wide tasks, while learning the building blocks of the strategy discipline. The successful candidate will demonstrate curiosity, initiative, time management, and independent action. Lastly, a successful hire will be able to grow into a full time strategy role as business needs allow, if that is where their ambition lies.

Responsibilities:

Administrative: 

  • Manages calendar and schedules meetings, which will include coordinating with internal and external constituents and responding to calendar requests appropriately and timely 
  • Minimal travel booking arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and taxis 
  • Processes expense reports and timesheets in a timely manner 
  • Exercise judgment, tact, and discretion when supporting executive management, internally and externally
  • Organizes and updates a library of strategy department files and assets, proactively gathering shared presentations, trend reports, etc.
  • Manages and executes department-level planning for biweekly meetings, new employee onboarding, annual gatherings, etc.
  • Assist in special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned by supervisor

Strategy:

  • Analyze & organize secondary research on consumer behavior, cultural trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to fuel strategic recommendations.
  • Coordinate & support primary qualitative research
  • Support the development of presentations and insights that inform creative work, brand positioning, and campaign planning. 
  • Become knowledgeable with all of our tools and be able to conduct baseline analyses, from social listening to BrandAI
  • Assist social strategists and community managers in maintaining client Social BaCnks
  • Track deadlines and deliverables for department-level projects to keep the team organized and efficient.
  • An active member of our Slack community, assisting with requests for past projects to sharing articles of interest

  • Professionalism. Able to interface with all levels of executive and senior management and able to handle highly confidential matters and information

Experience 

  • 0-2 years of related experience in strategy, brand marketing, social media, research, or an administrative role supporting a team
  • Experience within a fast-paced marketing or advertising agency strongly preferred

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Salary Range

Our estimated range for this role is $60k - $65k

Compensation packages are based on the skill level and experience each candidate brings to their role. There may also be a more senior or junior position available that could be a better fit with your expertise. Each level has its own compensation range.
