
Associate Manager, Commercial Strategy

KAYAK is looking for a data-focused and performance driven Analyst to join our Commercial Strategy team, supporting the LATAM & EMEA regions! This role requires a strong intuition for business, alongside excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Working closely with numerous teams within KAYAK and using data to identify, quantify and prioritize opportunities, this role will have an input in developing strategies to drive revenue and partner growth.

Join our team as a Commercial Strategy Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping KAYAK’s commercial strategy and growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic guidance to account owners to optimize partner advertising campaigns for engagement, reach, and value.
- Work with large amounts of data, be ambitious and proactive in analyzing, investigating and prioritizing information across multiple data sets and sources.
- Deliver account insights, partner reports and internal business presentations through compelling data visualizations and clear storytelling from the numbers.
- Transform complex data into pivotal initiatives to guide and support Commercial teams on decision-making and the delivery of pitches.
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics, including traffic patterns, performance trends, and product A/B test results
- Cultivate relationships with account owners and client success teams by designing and driving tailored strategies to increase partner revenue and value.
- Drive cross-regional and vertical projects that contribute to the organization’s growth and profitability.
- Monitor market trends, assess competitiveness, and identify growth opportunities for partners to maintain a continued advantage.
Please apply if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, preferably in travel, e-commerce roles.
- Excellent MS Excel, Google Sheets and Google Slides knowledge.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker Studio),
- Basic SQL knowledge required and experience with Cognos is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights and strategies to diverse audiences.
