Project Accountant

We are looking to hire a Project Accountant for our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This position provides excellent customer service to existing and new customers and acts as the liaison between clients and our internal team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up new jobs & prime contracts in CMIC.
  • Create monthly Lump Sum, T&M and GMP owner billings utilizing AIA documents, including all required backup based on owner contract, posting billings timely and accurately.
  • Review owner contracts for required billing, lien waiver and other accounting related responsibilities.
  • Final review and approval of all assigned project related supplier & subcontractor invoices utilizing hh2 Document Flow to ensure costs are posted timely & accurately.
  • Approval of weekly check runs to ensure all suppliers and subcontractors are paid within terms.
  • Prepare, collect, and monitor all appropriate lien waivers necessary for release of payments.
  • Assist vendors and subcontractors when inquiring on invoice/payment status.
  • Print job reports for projects managers as necessary
  • Monitor accounts receivable status and assist with collection if necessary.
  • Reconcile all job billings monthly.
  • Assist Project Managers with other job cost related tasks.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • CMIC experience, a plus.
  • ProCore & HH2 experience a plus.
  • Heavy Industrial experience a plus.
  • Construction accounting experience is required.
  • Full-cycle AP and AR experience, a plus.
  • Familiarity with pay applications is required.
