Traveling Field Technician – National Paving Group
Keeley Construction

Keeley Construction is looking for a dedicated Traveling Field Technician to join our National Paving Group. In this role, you'll travel to various locations across the U.S. to provide on-site repairs, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth operation of paving projects.

Locations:

  • Greater Houston, TX
  • Jackson, MS
  • Rochester, MN
  • Minneapolis, MN

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site repairs for our paving clients, ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide service and support during site visits, offering assistance to clients as needed.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot paving equipment and assist with ongoing project maintenance.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment by adhering to and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to assess project needs and ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Act as a company representative, working directly with clients to resolve issues and meet expectations.
  • Uphold quality standards while completing work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete daily safety assessments and inspections to ensure the safety of the team and job site.
  • Support general duties related to asphalt paving, patching, or prep work on various crews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Entry-level positions are available; 1-3 years of experience in asphalt or paving is preferred.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to different states year-round, staying on the road as needed to support projects nationwide.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
