Traveling Foreman – Civil Construction

Our Civil Group is seeking an experienced Traveling Foreman to join our team. This role supports civil construction operations only and is best suited for a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to self-perform work.

We are an IBEW contractor; however, this is not a lineman position, and no electrical work is performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support field crew members, including carpenters and laborers, while assisting with overall project operations
  • Support site leadership in executing daily work activities safely and efficiently
  • Assist with project site logistics planning and work closely with the Project Manager on construction methods and sequencing
  • Coordinate daily work plans, labor, and equipment needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations
  • Coordinate with supervisory staff, engineers, and inspectors to resolve construction challenges and improve work methods
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience on large-scale civil, transmission, energy, or similar construction projects
  • Proven self-perform experience in civil construction
  • Strong leadership and crew supervision skills
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus
  • OSHA 30-hour Card preferred
  • IBEW membership required
Additional Information
  • Work includes concrete flatwork for substations, drilled shafts, and general civil and infrastructure projects
  • Employment is subject to the terms of the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • All candidates must complete a selection assessment and pre-employment drug screening
