About The Job

As we grow Life360 Internationally, we are looking to add an experienced Director of International Marketing to support our expansion in the UK, Australia, Canada and Europe. Life360 has proven success globally, built a strong international user base, and has a compelling value proposition around family safety and connection. We are now building out our international team to support our rapid growth. The Marketing team is a highly valued contributor to the business. From creating demand to converting that demand to expanding our relationships with members, the Marketing team is at the forefront of telling the Life360 story and how it can help make everyday family life better. We prioritise bold thinking, principled risks and entrepreneurial thinking. And, we give our marketers the freedom and autonomy to make the decisions they feel are best for the brand and the business. It’s an exciting time to be on the Life360 global Marketing team!

We are looking for a passionate and data-informed Marketing Director who will take the leading role in defining the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that help build awareness, acquire, engage, and retain Life360 members in our priority International Markets (UK, Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, Nordics - now & expansion into Europe - future). This is a high impact role and includes deeply understanding our members, our business, defining the strategy, planning and delivering campaigns. 

This role is based in London with a hybrid model of remote and in person/office meetings and reports to the Head of International.

What You'll Do

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the International Marketing strategy & plan across Life360 & Tile to grow MAU & Revenue, setting a compelling vision for our International expansion
  • Lead a team of marketing specialists (product, brand, paid media, social, CRM & creative)
  • Play a critical leadership role in marketing forecasting and budget management.
  • Lead the development of positioning and messaging for International markets
  • Lead the development, creation and execution of omni-channel brand & product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, membership & subscription growth
  • Lead go-to-market launches for new product and membership offerings in International markets and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Lead media investment decisions and support execution and performance
  • Lead PR & communications strategies to drive awareness and brand trust
  • Lead research to gain deep insights into our users to ensure we're focussed on the right messaging, positioning and content
  • Monitor competitive landscape/positioning and market trends/threats
  • Lead the analysis and sharing of campaigns results that have clear insights and takeaways with actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • Deeply understand the connection of various marketing channels/levers to our key business metrics. Enact strategies and tactics to generate greater returns from our investments in them.
  • Partner with global brand and creative leadership to ensure strong connectivity of our messaging, creative excellence, and adherence to brand guidelines and ambition.
  • Adjust strategies and tactics based on trends and feedback
  • Partner with stakeholders in Marketing (Growth/Performance & CRM), Product, Creative, Testing, Legal, Finance and more to support our international marketing roadmap

What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates with a diverse background that will compliment the skills and backgrounds of the current team. If you don’t fit all the criteria below please apply anyway as this list is more of a preference rather than a rule. Our priority is for a well rounded team that delivers results:

  • At least 10 years of marketing experience with strong leadership expertise
  • Consumer subscription experience strongly preferred. Freemium model experience is highly beneficial.
  • Experience across all channels of marketing including offline and online but with a focus on digital
  • Experience localising an existing product to different international markets and launching marketing campaigns, showing a great understanding of and passion for local nuances, and ability to translate these into delightful member experiences
  • Strong at data analysis and making data-informed decisions
  • A balanced perspective between data driven decision making and gut/big picture thinking that challenges the status quo/conventional thinking
  • A hustle “can-do” attitude with a growth mindset –hunger and curiosity to dig in and find solutions to drive the business
  • Effective time management, creative, analytical, and organisational skills
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic 
  • Creative and able to think differently about how we market and where we market
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
