If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a UX Writer (Content Designer) to join our team in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The Team
We are the eCommerce business unit and our goal is to enable merchants to grow their businesses. As Lightspeed grows, we are bringing and integrating the Lightspeed ecosystem including payments, shipping, and other services to help our merchants build the most unique experience for their customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Write and edit texts for the E-Series product interface.
- Create UX scenarios together with product managers, designers, and developers.
- Find ways to deliver value and solve product problems with text.
- Develop and maintain a culture of writing high-quality text.
- Assist junior team members, help with new members onboarding.
- Create and update team documentation.
- Contribute to defining content strategy for one or more product areas.
- Implement and oversee content design methodologies and best practices.
- Offer improvements for team members and stakeholders that help to grow team productivity.
❗️You won’t write technical documentation, slogans, and SEO articles.
What you need to bring:
- 2+ years of professional experience in UX writing.
- Background in editing, media, journalism, UX research, technical writing as a plus
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Full proficiency in English & Russian.
- Empathy and proven ability to identify users’ pain points and needs to come up with most effective and appropriate UX scenarios and text solutions.
- Attention to detail and proven effective writing skills.
- Ability to organize your workflow and keep track of deadlines.
- Ability to build communications within your team and with other departments.
- Ability to understand technical implementations and limitations.
