Project Manager I – Partnerships (Music & Entertainment)

Overview

The Partnerships team manages relationships with leading and emerging partners across creators, public figures, media, and entertainment. This role supports the music and entertainment vertical by driving operational excellence, analyzing partner performance, and supporting cross‑functional initiatives that enhance partner success and product adoption.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with Partner Solutions Managers and Strategic Partner Managers to streamline workflows, evaluate performance trends, and manage inbound partner needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and enjoys working at the intersection of partnerships, operations, and data.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze partner account and page performance to identify opportunities for improvement and product adoption.
  • Support goal tracking, performance reporting, and forecasting to surface trends, risks, and opportunities for the in‑market team.
  • Provide data‑driven insights that inform partner strategy and operational decision‑making.

Program & Partner Management

  • Manage inbound requests from entertainment partners, ensuring timely routing, prioritization, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Partner Solutions Managers and Strategic Partner Managers to support ongoing partner programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams across Operations, Programs, and Partnerships.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks, balance competing priorities, and align on business objectives.
  • Navigate technical and operational constraints to support smooth execution of partner initiatives.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability across partner workflows.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and operational tracking to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and the fast‑paced nature of a startup‑like environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategic partnerships, account management, partner management, or project management.
  • Knowledge of the music and entertainment ecosystem.
  • Experience working directly with entertainment partners.
  • Background in technology, social media, digital media, or entertainment industries.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including external partners and internal leadership.
  • Self‑starter with strong prioritization and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Experience improving processes, working with systems, and identifying operational efficiencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).

Top Required Skills

  • Resolve operational bottlenecks and support partner‑facing workflows.
  • Operate with agility in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.

Location: Remote (United States)

Role type: Contract 6-9 months

Expected hours: 40 per week
