
Quality Tracking Systems Engineer I
Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated Quality Tracking Systems Engineer to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on extremely challenging projects. In addition to be responsible of manufacturing quality systems and processes, the Quality Systems Engineer work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with all Manufacturing Shops, Quality and Production to maintain quality tracking system changes updated.
You Will:
- Gather and document customer requirements for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Participate in fit-gap analysis of customer requirements vs. MES functionality
- Participate in the testing of MES applications
- Support Manufacturing on the efficient use of MES; provide technical input to help troubleshoot issues during MES usage and support end-users in MES navigation
- Actively evaluate current systems and drive continuous improvement of end-user experience
- Integrating, operating, and maintaining the entire Manufacturing Execution Systems -MES- in the plant.
- Work with the team on establishing MES design principles, practices, implementations, documentation, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist with defining the objectives of MES improvements, including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations.
- Work closely with manufacturing, line integrators, and vendors during installation/validation of MES.
You Bring:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferred or working experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Excellent customer service skills, ethics, and communications
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems and broad knowledge of Microsoft products, corporate enterprise software, and network troubleshooting
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical ability across a wide range of hardware, software, and mobile platforms
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Quality Systems Management experience
- Proficient knowledge of SQL, Tableau
- Problem-solving skills specific to Information Technology, Network Management, and System Design
- Analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
- Manufacturing automotive experience, specific to one or more of the following areas: Powertrain, BIW, Paint, and/or GA preferred
