
Sr. HR Business Partner
Overview
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in enabling this mission by aligning people strategies with business objectives at Lucid’s advanced automotive manufacturing facility in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). You will partner closely with leaders and employees across operations, engineering, and support functions to drive performance, engagement, and growth while embedding Lucid’s core values of Innovation, Collaboration, Sustainability, and Customer Obsession into everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with manufacturing and functional leaders to understand business priorities and co-create HR strategies that support production excellence, safety, quality, and innovation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, succession management, organizational design, and people development.
- Deliver data-driven insights to inform decision-making and foster continuous improvement.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Champion Lucid’s culture by fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to ensure employees feel valued, empowered, and connected to Lucid’s mission.
- Manage complex employee relations cases with integrity, empathy, and full compliance with Saudi labor law.
Talent & Development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, assess, and onboard top talent across operations and technical functions.
- Drive performance management by equipping leaders with tools and coaching to set goals, provide feedback, and build capability.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted programs that build future capabilities.
Compensation, Compliance & HR Operations
- Partner with Total Rewards to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and market-aligned.
- Support annual compensation cycles and incentive programs.
- Ensure HR compliance with Saudi labor law, health & safety regulations, and Lucid policies.
- Leverage HRIS and analytics to optimize HR operations and deliver actionable insights.
Change & Transformation
- Lead HR initiatives that enable Lucid’s growth, including product launches, organizational transformation, and digitalization.
- Act as a change champion, guiding leaders and employees through transitions with clarity, empathy, and resilience.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and global HR best practices.
- Proven track record in workforce planning, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in HR metrics and analytics.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (ATS: Greenhouse preferred, ERP: SAP SuccessFactors preferred, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive HRM with demonstrated impact in strategic HR delivery.
- Specialization: At least 3–5 years in a Human Resources Business Partner role, preferably within the automotive or advanced manufacturing industry.
