About The Position

One of our operating companies, Abit, is looking for a Systems Engineer, Level 3 to join their team in Rivervale, Western Australia.

The Systems Engineer, Level 3 will be responsible for delivering advanced technical support, leading project execution and mentoring junior technicians while ensuring reliable and efficient IT infrastructure for clients. We are looking for someone who brings strong technical expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous learning, teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support to customers
• Execute technical projects
• Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
• Assist with scheduled after-hours work and emergency outages
• Contribute to improving company policies and procedures
• Support and collaborate within a technical team

 Skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Level 3 support role
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Strong problem-solving and initiative
• Desire to learn and help others
• Team-oriented mindset

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS (10/11, Server 2016–2025)
• Strong networking knowledge
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, UTMs, switches, and routers

Desirable Experience:

• Proxmox and virtual servers
• Windows Server migrations and upgrades
• Office 365 migrations
• Microsoft Azure
• Sophos XGS Firewall
• Veeam and ShadowProtect
• Exchange / Office 365 / Active Directory
• SharePoint
• IPTel
