Chief of Staff

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to join our team. You’ll work directly with the CEO to help Mantra achieve its goals and mission. After a year in the role, you will have learned about founding and scaling a healthcare startup and have spearheaded multiple strategic projects being an extension of the leadership team and the CEO. We’re looking forward to meeting ambitious folks with startup experience and an excellent analytical foundation preferably from management consulting or investment banking. What you will do:

  • Report to the CEO
  • Collaborate with the CEO and our senior leadership in executing material, impactful strategic initiatives and company-wide operations
  • Facilitate and act as the main point of contact for all senior leadership meetings.
  • Prepare board materials, presentations, and reports for investors
  • Manage large, complex cross-functional projects
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the company, encouraging teamwork and a positive work environment.
  • Assist the CEO in optimal calendar and schedule management, managing communications, executive offsites, and handling ad hoc tasks as needed

Who you are/What you have done:

  • You have 4+ years of experience in a fast growing startup between 50 and 500 employees
  • 2+ years experience of management consulting experience, private equity, or investment banking experience preferred
  • You have a great work ethic, analytical abilities, and attention to detail
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and with precision
  • Experience with tech-enabled healthcare services or the ed-tech sector.
  • Located in the NYC area and able work in the office at least office at least 3 days a week

Icing on the cake:

  • You have experience working in companies with a B2B enterprise go-to-market motion
  • Direct work experience in business operations or strategy & operations at a start-up
  • Familiarity with analytical and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 and eligibility for a performance bonus of up to $19,500.
