Maven is hiring a Web Optimization Manager to join our Marketing team to lead our website strategy, optimization, and performance initiatives across our many audiences (employers, brokers, health plans, members, & investors). This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical and analytical expertise to enhance the visitor experience, improve conversion rates, and drive measurable growth.
The Web Optimization Manager will partner with resources both internal (design, demand generation, digital, product marketing, marketing operations, product) and external (Dev and SEO agency) to lead development, increase functionality, drive conversions, optimize UX, measure results, and manage all website activity. You will lead or partner on everything that happens on our website, from landing pages and forms to large-scale initiatives around optimization and architecture.
As the Web Optimization Manager, you will:
- Own the overarching web strategy: Develop and lead the strategy for site updates, continuously refining web experiences across landing pages and core site content, in partnership with key stakeholders. Drive growth by aligning website initiatives with broader marketing and business goals.
- Site management & technical oversight of web development: Oversee the web development process, ensuring site architecture supports scalability, agility, and a seamless visitor experience across all devices.
- Optimization & testing: Facilitate a rigorous website testing plan for user experience, site performance, and conversion rates following experimentation best practices. Implement personalization strategies to tailor web experiences based on audience needs.
- Web performance analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for website performance. Generate actionable insights by continuously monitoring and analyzing web metrics such as page load times, core web vitals, mobile performance, and uptime.
- SEO strategy & execution: Iterate on and refine the technical SEO strategy in partnership with external resources. Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement a comprehensive SEO content strategy, maximizing search engine visibility and organic traffic.
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 5+ years of experience in website management, optimization, or a related role within a high-growth company. B2B experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of website architecture, development processes, and user experience best practices.
- Proven expertise in web analytics, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SEO strategy, tools, and execution.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow), and performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights).
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
