The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for driving internal talent acquisition strategies through utilizing best practice initiatives and tactics to source, identify, attract, and hire talent into the organization under the direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition. This critical talent acquisition role requires an individual to understand the business structure and will recruit for all departments in the organization, which include:  Wealth Management, Sales, Family Wealth Services, Investment Operations, IT, and other mid to back-office career opportunities.  This role requires a high level of flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and plan work well for execution.

Essential Functions for the role include: 

  • Full cycle recruitment with strong organizational skills with an attention to detail around compliance and employment laws.
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle:
    • Intake Meeting
    • Sourcing
    • Interview/Assessment
    • Interview Scheduling for candidates who pass the phone screen
    • Finalist Selection
    • Offer & Acceptance
  • Develop and maintain a centralized requisition log, candidate flow to close, participate in weekly team meeting with Director, Talent Acquisition and Senior Director, People Operations to discuss requisition status, candidate flow, barriers to recruitment, and placement close.
  • Manage job postings for the recruitment team – create job templates, post internally and externally, and remove upon offer/acceptance.
  • Ensure requisitions, postings, interview and selection processes are aligned with organizational/team requirements/specifications
  • Source, select, screen, interview and evaluate candidates for various career opportunities within the organization, including providing counsel and guidance to hiring managers
  • Creatively source for candidates while building a network of candidates for current and future opportunities (LinkedIn, national and local professional associations)
  • Identify alternative recruitment methods such as online recruitment methods, job fairs, professional organizations, technical programs, and universities to target highly skilled individuals and work with Director, Talent Acquisition and Senior Director, People Operations on additional recruitment strategies to be implemented timely to have a successful recruitment cycle for the hiring manager.
  • Manage all temporary agency relationships.  Actively involved in screening Agency referrals with the decision to not forward to hiring manager based on HR/Recruiting knowledge, culture, and skillset assessment.
  • Write, place, and maintain compelling job postings to communicate our unique and engaging work culture.
  • Manage evergreen requisitions for candidate qualification, interests to build a database of future candidates for pipeline recruitment.
  • Contribute to HR team with best practice recruitment and retention strategies to build a best-in-class and diverse and equitable employee workforce.
  • Role is 30% talent management administrative with 70% focused on sourcing, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer recommendation for internal equity review, and verbal offer.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 3+ years of fast-pasted recruiting experience and successfully handling a variety of roles throughout the business; hunting and networking skills required
  • Prior experience within financial services/RIA industry is a plus
  • Experience with recruiting systems – UKG experience helpful
  • AIRS Search Lab (CIR) and Professional Recruitment Certification (PRC) a plus
  • Ability to use good judgment, prioritize and plan work well, and execute deliberately
  • Timely follow-through & follow-up required
  • Must have the ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and required to exercise extreme discretion
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, show adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues objectively
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal communication skills, including building rapport and conducting meaningful conversations both on the phone and in person
  • Professional who exercises sound judgment and diplomacy
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; willingness to pitch in to help the team

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM with flexibility.  Work location is flexible with the expectation to available for in-person meetings and/or travel. 

Working Conditions:  Professional home office work environment, business hours with some early morning or late day calls and travel as required by the business, standing, and sitting.  Ability to occasionally travel for college career fairs.
