If you’re a commercially driven sales leader who enjoys building teams, developing markets, and closing complex enterprise deals, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline through direct sales, channel partners, and strategic alliances
  • Lead a consultative, value-based sales approach, connecting Minitab’s analytics and manufacturing solutions to measurable business outcomes
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, across manufacturing and industrial organisations
  • Champion the Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL) to ensure strong customer outcomes and long-term value
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Alliances, and Product teams to drive growth across the full customer journey
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, geographically distributed sales team
  • Coach the team on territory planning, account strategy, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM (Dynamics) and sales processes to support visibility and performance
  • Stay close to UK and EMEA market trends, particularly within manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and analytics adoption

What we’re looking for

  • A hands-on sales leader who is comfortable engaging directly with customers and supporting deal execution
  • Proven experience building, leading, and developing enterprise sales teams
  • Strong background in analytics software, manufacturing software solutions, or industrial technology
  • Experience selling into UK and EMEA markets, with an understanding of regional buying behaviours and business culture
  • Deep expertise in consultative and value-based selling approaches
  • Ability to clearly articulate how technology delivers business value (e.g. quality improvement, cost reduction, operational efficiency)
  • Experience building relationships at executive level within complex, matrixed organisations
  • Strength in core sales disciplines:
    • Account and opportunity planning
    • Pipeline development and forecasting
    • Negotiation and closing
    • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS and/or on-premise)
  • 3+ years leading regional or enterprise sales teams
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience working across UK and Northern Europe (e.g. Nordics, Benelux) preferred
  • Demonstrated success selling into manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors
  • Experience with subscription and recurring revenue models
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services
  • Experience growing strategic enterprise accounts
  • Familiarity with Dynamics CRM is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, EMEA North, and occasionally internationally

How you work

  • You take ownership and deliver results
  • You balance strategic thinking with practical execution
  • You build strong, collaborative relationships across teams
  • You bring energy, pace, and focus to your work
  • You’re commercially astute and customer-focused
  • You’re motivated by growth, performance, and continuous improvement

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with structured, consultative sales methodologies
