As a Senior Account Manager in Account Management, you’ll have the chance to:

Delivery: 

  • Accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities
  • Craft and present best in class insight reports that blend campaign performance and real business challenges, telling a story with our MiQ data
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying incremental opportunities, grow accounts & strategize new solutions on an ongoing basis, including recommendation of additional products to expand channels
  • Support a portfolio of clients and ensure that all are performing optimally; working in partnership with Trading team to ensure campaigns are pacing as desired
  • Implement campaign optimizations with Trading team and deliver client reporting + optimization commentary
  • Provide incremental forecasting across your book of business
  • Create client development plans + strategies that support retention and growth 

Project Management:  

  • Organize internal and external stakeholders and multiple milestones
  • Lead internal pod syncs and client status calls to ensure all stakeholders remain up to date on current needs
  • Confirm all relevant information needed for successful campaign is received as part of launch email (checklist provided) 
  • Troubleshoot campaign challenges alongside team
  • Schedule ongoing check-ins with team + client 
  • Ensure timely delivery of all client reporting and ad hoc requests 

Internal Collaboration:  

  • Collaborate and build relationships with internal teams to encourage ongoing thought leadership & MiQ product diversification
  • Contribute to feedback loop with Product team, serving as advocate for your client and sharing back any needs or enhancements for internal tools and partnerships
  • Foster the growth and development of junior team members as they learn the skills needed to be a strong Account Coordinator or Account Manager
  • Be a change agent for the National AM team, working on key initiatives that impact the larger MiQ team.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to develop rapport, attend meetings in person when possible
  • Attend all AM-related trainings and completion of Accreditation modules to ensure product knowledge remains current 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional members of commercial team to deliver custom client solutions and upsell to clients

Communication:  

  • Provide crisp and clear communication to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders; flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes
  • Proactively seek opportunities to go above and beyond for clients
  • Attend weekly pod syncs and regional Board (client performance review) meetings, keeping all teams aligned on any updates and/or next steps
  • Explain strategy & optimizations to internal & external partners
  • Articulate to clients how MiQ’s agnostic approach and Trading technology/ expertise sets us apart
  • Serve as critical Sales support in order to take on more internal tasks that will allow Sales more time in-market - take lead on client communications with existing clients 

Innovation: 

  • Act with curiosity, finding new and better ways of working, and open to trying new ideas/processes
  • Strategize within AM department and the Commercial pod to grow and develop existing client business
  • Serve as guide to lead more junior team members in development of strategic skillset - showcasing proactive advice to help our clients solve their business challenges
  • Stay close with clients by reading related company news or industry trades, attend earnings calls to serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 4-6 years of advertising technology and/or media planning experience
  • Proficient in Google Campaign Manager, Sizmek MDX, Salesforce, and Atlassian (JIRA)
  • Experience with Tag Management Systems a plus!
  • Adept understanding of the advertising industry, and a curiosity of what the future holds
  • Sound understanding of the digital programmatic ecosystem and the vendor-agency-advertiser dynamic
  • Competitive ‘winning’ mentality
  • Experience working with Tier 1 agency and client direct clientele
  • Commercial experience – clear evidence of servicing advertisers to a high standard and growing business from “one-time deals” to strategic partnerships measured through revenue and/or business line growth
  • Proven ability to improve internal processes and share knowledge across internal/external stakeholders
  • Involvement in a high energy work environment with ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • A+ presentation skills with the ability to turn data points into a compelling media story
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal/external team members
  • Ability to take abstract ideas and translate them into actionable solutions
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion
  • Eager to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques
  • Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Transparency 

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $90,000-$105,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
