About The Role:

As the Lab Manager, you will ensure smooth and efficient pharmacy operations by coordinating shift schedules, managing daily tasks, and addressing unusual or complex orders. In the absence of senior management, your role will keep the pharmacy on track by overseeing workflow, handling spreadsheets, invoices, accounts receivable, and cost of goods sold (COGS), allowing our team to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all operational needs
  • Proactively address operational issues, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain consistent workflow
  • Oversee inventory, including cycle counts, order planning, product verification, and quality control
  • Handle non-standard and complex orders, coordinating with team members to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Maintain spreadsheets for inventory, invoices, COGS, and accounts receivable with a focus on accuracy and accessibility
  • Supervise team members by assigning tasks based on skills and roles, providing on-the-spot training or assistance as necessary
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and communicate recommendations to management
  • Uphold company policies and health, safety, and employment standards

Who You Are:

  • 1+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail for managing data, invoices, and inventory records
  • Comfortable with shifting priorities and able to handle unusual order requests with a problem-solving mindset
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds regularly as needed
  • Proficient in basic data entry, inventory management software, and fundamental arithmetic
  • Self-motivated and reliable, able to maintain a productive and positive work environment

Shift:

  • 6 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM 
  • Flexibility to work weekends when needed, offering a balance between structured hours and adaptability

The estimated salary for this role is between $130,000/year and $200,000/year
