A Day in the Life:
In the position of Maint Mechanic I, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs on all production equipment to ensure equipment is consistently operating at full functionality to minimize downtime and to maximize production efficiencies.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment/systems supporting the distribution or utilization of electric energy. Follow design, build, install instructions for the repair of equipment to include transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, power panels, motors, heating units, conduit/raceway conveyances, other transmission equipment, and mechanical, pneumatic, control, process, and automation systems.
- Locate, diagnose , troubleshoot, repair all systems and equipment as directed and required. Follow and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of all ancillary machines and production equipment utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). Identify and initiate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and confidently determine mitigation processes. Work from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
- Maintain fire/alarm detection systems, HVAC, mechanical systems, emergency generators, security access control systems, lighting systems, boilers, wastewater processes, air compressors systems, chilled water systems, cooling tower systems, CO2 systems, NO2 systems, water filtration systems.
- Assures that appropriate training is scheduled and performed. Conduct environmental monitoring activities. Perform daily water treatment testing activities. Ensure the Maintenance Shop is kept clean and organized. Work from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage. Demonstrate active collaboration with cross departmental teams and conduct oneself with professionalism.
Who You Are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in maintenance mechanic or technician role
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in beverage industry
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with standard office software (such as MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Preferred Certifications: N/A
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics with problem solving skills
Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Pay Range
$28 - $37 USD
