Job Title: IT Asset Management Lead
Location: Orlando, FL
Reports To: Director of IT Service Management
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Asset Management Lead to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT assets using Freshservice as our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool, along with ControlUp and Intune as our management consoles. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Utilize Freshservice to manage IT asset inventory, track asset status, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Implement and maintain asset management processes and procedures to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the IT Service Management team to ensure seamless integration of asset management with other ITSM processes.
- Use ControlUp and Intune to monitor and manage IT assets, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Develop and maintain asset management reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization and performance.
- Train and support staff on asset management best practices and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM tools.
- Experience with management consoles such as ControlUp and Intune.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., ITIL, IAITAM) is a plus.
