Staff Accountant: *PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS ONSITE*

Summary:
Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Staff Accountant for our Downtown Nashville office who will report directly to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with senior-level Attorneys. This individual will not only ensure that the case side of accounting is ran with efficiency and accuracy but will also offer effective and responsive support to our internal legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Process Operational Disbursements
- Expense Authorization for Operational Disbursements
- Procurement Vendor Set Up – Ensuring IRS Compliance
- ACH/Wires/Bank Transfers
- Reconciliation of GL Accounts
- Data entry utilizing Excel / NetSuite Banking Application
- Manage Shared Mailbox – handling request timely
- Point of Contact for Accounting related questions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
- Law Firm Experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Net Suite Experience preferred
- Critical Thinker
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced office environment
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and possess the ability to multitask
- Progressive Work Experience preferred
- Proven Leader
- Team player
