Senior Full-Stack Engineer

United States (LA)

Build the core surfaces and systems powering a global creator platform

We are building a unified platform that connects creators, brands, and data at global scale. You will own major pieces of the application stack across frontend, backend, and API architecture. This role is for someone who can take a product requirement, shape the architecture, implement it cleanly, and ship without hand-holding.

If you thrive in high-velocity product environments, care about code quality, and know how to build modern, scalable systems with React and TypeScript on the front and Node/Nest on the back, this is the role.

What You Will Own

  • End to end product surfaces across frontend, backend, and API layers
  • Implementation quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Architecture decisions that keep the platform scalable and cohesive
  • Feature delivery velocity across multiple product teams
  • Frontend UI quality, consistency, and component patterns
  • Backend API design, data modeling, and integration patterns

What You Will Do

• Ship production code daily across React, TypeScript, Nest, and our API stack
• Work directly with design and product to turn concepts into fast, intuitive experiences
• Build and maintain clean, typed interfaces and shared frontend systems
• Design and implement backend services, integrations, and data flows
• Hold the bar on code quality and engineering standards
• Write unit and integration tests that actually catch failures, not just tick a box
• Contribute to platform-wide architecture decisions as we scale to millions of creators and billions of data points

Required Experience

• 5+ years building modern JavaScript/TypeScript applications
• 5+ years backend/API development with Node, REST, and service design
• 2+ years with React and TypeScript in production
• 2+ years with state management (Jotai, Redux, MobX, or similar)
• 2+ years with Nest
• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern component libraries (Shadcn, Tailwind, Mantine, Material)
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, Postgres)
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript patterns, ES6+, and module ecosystems
• Experience writing meaningful unit and integration tests
• Clear written English and ability to communicate requirements and decisions

Nice To Have

  • Strong design sensibilities and ability to build pixel-perfect interfaces
  • Microservices experience across distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP
  • CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc)
  • Experience building large-scale creator, data, or marketplace platforms

Who You Are

  • You move quickly without sacrificing quality
  • You think clearly about architecture and make pragmatic decisions
  • You can take ownership of a feature and drive it from idea to release
  • You care about performance, clarity, and maintainable code
  • You look for the simplest solution that still scales
  • You make teams faster by raising standards, not adding process

Why This Role Matters

You are shaping the core product experience that creators and brands will use every day. The frontend is the face of the platform. The backend is the backbone. Your work determines how fast we can ship, how reliable the system feels, and how quickly we can scale into new flows, new data models, and new automation.

Along with your CV, please include links to relevant code samples (API, React/Typescript, HTML, CSS, etc) and/or links to recent projects.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
