Legal Contracts Database Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Contracts Database Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the contract management cycle. The individual will take a hands-on approach to support and manage processes and activities of all phases of the contract lifecycle for all customer and vendor contracts. The person will work with the Commercial Contracts and Database Manager to provide support across Natera in regard to contracting processes, policies, rules and systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain an effective contract management system – experience with Agiloft is a plus.

Properly capture and track important terms of each agreement for reporting, audit, and notification purposes.

Execute activities relating to the assignment, signing, filing, tracking and managing completed agreements, including performing certain administrative tasks such as maintaining contract files, tracking metrics, mailings, and scanning documents.

Enter, maintain and ensure the integrity of contract data within CLM and other tracking databases.

Manage the timely processing of all contracts and amendments from initial request through execution.

Collaborate with the Commercial Contracts and Database Manager to ensure smooth management of the contract system.

Assist in supporting a centralized database of contract templates.

Triage contract-related requests and questions between business teams and Legal so that work can be prioritized, and questions can be addressed more efficiently and effectively.

Support other activities as directed by Commercial Contracts and Database Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience with contracts management preferred

Knowledge of commercial and legal contract terms with direct experience working with CLM systems strongly preferred.

Prior in-house legal experience is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision.

Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and across functions, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work products.

Ability to formulate creative solutions to accomplish the company’s objectives.

Strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong technology skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Excellent writing and editing skills.

Well organized, proactive and detail-oriented.

Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not required.
