JOB TITLE: Solution Architect / Sr. Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud

JOB LOCATION: Remote, USA (with occasional travel on-site to San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Salesforce Service Cloud Solution Architect collaborates with business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes. This role also collaborates with the Product team to prioritize the backlog and ensures the solution design and system deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria.

Reporting into the Director, CRM systems, our Solution Architect would be translating client requirements into the architecture for key client needs.  Solution architect would understand the scope of the project and validates the correct resources for the project, maps business functional requirements to system/technical requirements, and ensures alignment of planning and solutions with Stakeholders goals. Someone who can roll up the sleeves and act as an individual contributor/ Sr. Developer.

Required Qualifications and Must Have Skills 

  • Salesforce Service Cloud architecture

  • Omni Channel implementation (End to end)

  • Open CTI methods

  • At least 6 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce service cloud projects

  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online

Salesforce certifications

  •     Sales Cloud Consultant (Nice to have)

  •     Service Cloud Consultant (Must have)

  •     Platform App Builder (Must have)

  • Excellent relationship-building skills

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results,

  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams

  • Outstanding written communication skills

  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence

  • A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver solutions in Sales, Service, Marketing and Community Cloud domains of Salesforce. Identify relevant capabilities and features on the Salesforce platform and the best practices for implementing them.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best-practices and functionality.

  • Has a deep understanding of native Salesforce features and functionality, as well as the ability to model a role hierarchy, data model, and appropriate sharing mechanisms.

  • Focus on off-platform systems, integration, securing access between systems as well as managing governance and testing capabilities for deployment and ongoing Salesforce modification requirements.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com Administration, configuration, automating business processes, and code review.

  • Identify adjacent solutions including App Exchange products that would meet the business needs.

  • Recommend the best solution for a given set of requirements, and articulate the trade-offs in choosing one solution over the other.

  • Create and deliver Sales, Service and Community Cloud solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce and J2EE technologies

  • Design, implement and manage the data architecture for Salesforce. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and transform them into efficient data models.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other applications in the enterprise, ensure smooth and scalable data exchanges with an underlying data model that supports current immediate needs and future growth of the platform.

  • Collaborate with other technical teams within the organization in driving point and end-to-end architecture for Salesforce.

  • Ability to be proactive with regard to problem-solving and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with deadlines

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks/priorities

 

 

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
