About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Sales & Trade Planning Manager to join our Sales Business Development Team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and Marketing to develop sales strategies, manage forecasting, and optimize trade spend to drive revenue growth. You'll also oversee pricing, promotion planning, and the use of sales systems to support key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieve business goals. Areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales forecasts, and tracking performance against KPIs.
  • Lead trade, pricing, and promotion planning, ensuring their effectiveness.
  • Partner with Finance to manage trade spend, evaluate promotions, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
  • Support Sales teams with data analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting to drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure proper use of trade promotion management (TPM) systems and tools, providing insights and supporting sales strategies.

Critical Success Factors:

  • Proven experience in sales and trade planning and management, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to manage trade plans, optimize trade spend, and improve customer profitability.
  • Experience conducting data analysis to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Strong track record in improving sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality results, even under tight deadlines, without compromising on standards

You excel at strategizing, implementing, and managing sales and trade plans, with proven experience leading forecasting, tracking KPIs, and reporting. A proactive collaborator, you work confidently across functions, offering a constructive perspective to ensure sales plans and promotional programs meet business objectives. You provide leadership and guidance to sales teams, driving revenue growth while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with sales and trade targets. Analytical and solutions-focused, you synthesize industry, customer, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and turn organizational objectives into actionable solutions. You thrive under pressure, delivering results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining clear communication tailored to your audience. Organized and disciplined, you take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and hold yourself and others accountable to achieve ambitious growth goals.

Ideal Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (MBA is a plus).
    • 5-10 years of experience in shipment, trade, retailer, and consumption data analysis, and competitive data analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Circana, and Nielsen.
    • Strong analytical skills in trade investment, pricing, and promotion strategies.
    • CPG experience is a plus.
