About the Role
As a Design Intern at NewsBreak, you will work closely with our design and product teams to support the creation of visual content across various platforms. This is a great opportunity to learn about branding, UI/UX, digital marketing, and product design while contributing to real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of marketing assets such as social media graphics, email templates, and presentations
- Support UI/UX design efforts for web and mobile applications
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
- Help maintain brand consistency across all visual materials
- Conduct research on design trends and user behavior
- Organize and maintain design files and libraries
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, UX/UI, or a related field
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and/or Figma, Sketch, Canva, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of aesthetics
- Good communication and time management skills
- Portfolio showcasing design work (academic, freelance, or personal projects)
Nice to have
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing (e.g., After Effects, Premiere)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Photography or illustration skills
