Director Marketing, Enterprise

Niantic’s Director of Enterprise Marketing will orchestrate the development and growth of our spatial services business with B2B and B2B2C customers. This will be inclusive of direct-to-customer, go-to-market partnerships and self-serve business models. Together, we will take Niantic’s market leading spatial services (scanning, localizing, multi-user) SDK & APIs to market across industry verticals to serve a variety of use cases. Our customers will include the biggest companies in the world that are in need of spatial solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and driving a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to attract, engage, and convert developers and businesses into committed customers. Your expertise in product marketing, and developer relations will be crucial in establishing Niantic as the go-to solution for geo-services.

You will work alongside Niantic’s other business, product and engineering leaders to expand our technology and platform for both B2C and B2B use cases. This role will be cross-functional and require engagement internal to Niantic and externally with a diverse group of potential partners and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy: Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and drives adoption of the self-serve geo-services offering. Analyze total addressable market. Identify target market/s for these services and communicate a compelling value proposition that resonates with potential customers.
  • Demand Generation: Create and implement targeted marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, events like B2B conferences) to generate qualified leads and drive conversion.
  • Customer Onboarding: Design and optimize the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new users, leading to increased activation and retention rates.
  • Pricing and Packaging: Collaborate with the product team to develop and refine our strategy for the self-serve offering, ensuring it aligns with market expectations and increases revenue growth.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Track and analyze key marketing metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, churn rate) to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaign performance.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a strong team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
  • Required in-office 2 days on Monday and Wednesday.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on product marketing, growth marketing, or developer relations. Prior experience marketing technical spatial or mapping products is highly desirable.
  • Proven understanding of APIs, web services, and software development concepts. Comfortable presenting our story to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including asynchronous interactions with others.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $209,500 - $245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
