NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Murex S4C Consultant to work onsite in New York City, NY OR nearshore in Canada, Mexico, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina or Ecuador.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Murex S4C Consultant to support the integration, configuration, and enhancement of the Murex MX.3 platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Murex integration modules, data flows, and proprietary technologies, and will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions across the full lifecycle of MX.3 implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Services & Integration

  • Deliver professional services to Murex clients across system integration, business intelligence, and data flow management.
  • Participate in full lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, configuration, installation, training, upgrades, and production support.
  • Build and test MX.3 integration modules and provide ongoing client support.

Project Implementation & Workflow Development

  • Contribute to design, build, and test phases of Murex projects, both remotely and on-site.
  • Develop trade workflows and interfaces using MXMLExchange, MXopenconnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart.
  • Install and configure packaged interfaces such as MDIT, Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit for market data integration.
  • Document functional use cases, test cases, and build processes.

Support & Maintenance

  • Manage support cases from notification to resolution, ensuring timely validation and client communication.
  • Provide business-as-usual and project support through email, CRM, phone, and on-site visits.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to manage bug fixes and enhancements.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with S4C stream leads and Front-Office, Back-Office, and Risk teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with the Product division to report and validate defects.
  • Ensure timely delivery by participating in regular project meetings and progress tracking.

Technical Expertise

  • Use SQL for reporting, STP issue analysis, and trade feed troubleshooting.
  • Apply Murex proprietary technologies including MSL (Murex Scripting Language), XMLF, Data Query Language, and MxML.
  • Create shell or Python scripts to automate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Understand and analyze pre-trade and post-trade workflows and integration points.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Murex MX.3 platform, especially in S4C stream and integration modules.
  • Strong understanding of trade workflows, market data interfaces, and financial data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, and Murex scripting standards.
  • Experience with XML, MxML, and automation scripting (Shell/Python).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Java programming (a plus but not required).
  • Experience working with external data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, and Markit.
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments.
