About the role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Analyst to join Ogilvy UK’s Marketing Sciences team, working at the heart of our social and influencer ecosystem.

This role sits within our Social & Influence team and focuses on turning social, creator and campaign data into clear, strategic recommendations that improve performance and drive brand growth.

You’ll work across content, creators, paid media and commerce — helping shape how one of the world’s largest beauty brands measures social impact and connects it to real business outcomes.

If you’re analytically strong, confident with data tools, and excited by the creator economy, this role offers genuine ownership, client exposure and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

Measurement & Analysis

  • Analyse social and influencer campaign performance across paid, owned and earned activity
  • Build and maintain robust measurement frameworks and reporting structures
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover optimisation opportunities
  • Connect social KPIs to broader digital and business metrics

Experimentation & Impact

  • Support test-and-learn programmes including A/B testing and incrementality analysis
  • Help design structured learning agendas across markets and brands
  • Contribute to evolving how we measure creator effectiveness and ROI

Data & Tools

  • Extract and manipulate data using SQL and Python or R
  • Work with influencer and social platforms (e.g. Traackr, CreatorIQ, social listening tools, native platform analytics)
  • Build intuitive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
  • Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, scalable and decision-ready

Client & Collaboration

  • Translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives
  • Present insights to internal teams and L’Oréal stakeholders
  • Partner with strategy, creative, media and influencer teams to embed data into planning

About You

  • 3–5 years’ experience in analytics (agency, consultancy, media, social or digital preferred)
  • Strong grounding in statistical analysis and experimental thinking
  • Confident in Traackr
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of social platforms, influencer marketing and digital KPIs
  • Comfortable presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with incrementality testing or attribution
  • Exposure to cloud data environments (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with social listening tools
  • Understanding of GA4 or digital analytics

Why This Role?

  • Work on one of the world’s largest beauty brands
  • Direct exposure to senior client stakeholders
  • Genuine ownership of analytical workstreams
  • Opportunity to shape next-generation social measurement
