About the role:
We are seeking a Copywriter to support key initiatives for a top-five investment bank’s social media expansion across multiple business units (Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Investment Management). This role merges a deep understanding of financial markets with creative expertise in storytelling, digital engagement, and content optimization. You will work closely with senior strategists, stakeholders, creative partners, and compliance teams to craft compelling narratives while adhering to our client’s stringent brand and regulatory guidelines. If you are a versatile storyteller and a copywriting expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What you will be doing:
- Content Development:
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams (strategists, creative designers, stakeholders, and more) to produce high‐impact LinkedIn posts, video scripts, infographics, and other digital assets.
- Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and messaging that are aligned with the client’s brand.
- Maintain best practices for publishing across various social channels and post types.
- Strategic Planning:
- Regularly monitor investment banking and management trends to inform ideation.
- Collaborate with strategists and stakeholders to proactively develop and pitch post concepts, series ideas, and messaging frameworks.
- Develop pitches rooted in data and insights and confidently present them to your team and senior stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Understand overall and post-specific KPIs for engagement, reach, and more.
- Collaborate with strategists to track post performance using technology platforms (e.g., Sprinklr).
- Refine copy based on real-time data, insights and executive feedback.
- Compliance & Governance:
- Liaise with business unit reviewers and compliance partners to refine ideas and edit copy.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and version control for timely approvals and audits.
- Culture:
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging experimentation with new platforms, formats, and storytelling techniques.
- Foster a center of excellence that maintains a consistent process and follows best practices.
What you need to be great in this role:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- 4-5 years of copywriting experience, with a specialization in social media. Financial services experience is strongly preferred.
- Financial Knowledge:
- Demonstrated familiarity with investment banking, capital markets, and/or asset management topics—enough to translate complex financial concepts into engaging, audience‐friendly copy.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience working with content creation and management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, CMS platforms, AI‐driven tools) and analytic dashboards.
- Proficiency interpreting performance metrics (engagement, conversions, sentiment, etc.) to optimize content.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with senior stakeholders and cross‐functional teams.
- Clear, concise writing style with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across audience segments.
- Organizational & Leadership Skills:
- Proven track record working across multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $97,750.00 to $109,250.00.
