Role:  Senior Account Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

 

About the role: 

Inside Group Ideas is hiring a seasoned Sr. Account Manager to join our award-winning in-house creative, content and production agency. For this position, you will play a pivotal role in the running, growth and development of the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from conception through to completion. We’re looking for someone who can help drive high-quality, culturally relevant work while supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, evolving team. 

This role sits at the intersection of Account Management and Project Management, requiring a balance of strong client servicing alongside structured delivery, workflow management, and cross-functional coordination. 

Working across the advertising, digital and marketing sectors, a Sr. Account Manager ensures the smooth production of campaigns and always-on activity - from strategy and creative concepting through to briefing, production, and delivery - while managing client relationships and supporting junior team members. 

This role is currently a hybrid model, requiring in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead the day-to-day running of multiple Canadian brands within akey global beverage & alcohol partner, with a strong understanding of brand tone, positioning, and identity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for mid-senior level clients, building strong and consistent relationships
  • Oversee the delivery of organic social workstreams, including always-on content, campaigns, community management, and content calendars
  • Manage timelines, workflows, and delivery across cross-functional teams including strategy, content, community management, studio, and US counterparts
  • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard of creative quality
  • Help lead cross-functional teams made up of strategy, visual design, copywriting, and production
  • Support and manage an Account Manager, contributing to their development and day-to-day guidance
  • Contribute to strategy and content direction, while ensuring strong execution and delivery
  • Maintainclear and proactive communication, including managing up and flagging risks when needed 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional client relationship or account management role
  • Strong experience in organic social, with a clear understanding of always-on content, platform-first thinking, and content ecosystems
  • Comfortable operating across both account management and project management responsibilities
  • Experience working on integrated campaigns, ideally within a global beverage & alcohol brand environment or similar fast-paced, culturally driven sectors 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, and production
  • Confident contributing to strategy and content direction, alongside execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage up, ask for support when needed, and stay aligned with senior stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and proactive in approach
  • Interest in evolving ways of working and tools (including AI) to improve efficiency and output
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $102,000.00 to $114,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
