Role Overview
We're looking for a REVIT Designer to create, split, and update REVIT families for ON.energy products, including our panels, cabinets, transformers, and similar electrical equipment. You'll support the BIM models, drawings, and renders we build in REVIT for technical documentation, project coordination, and presentations.

What You'll Do

  • Create, split, and modify Autodesk REVIT families.
  • Build families from Inventor, STEP, DWG, and PDF files and from vendor documentation.
  • Simplify imported models to improve REVIT performance.
  • Add and review parameters, materials, family types, dimensions, clearances, and visibility settings.
  • Place and organize equipment in REVIT projects, and create plans, elevations, sections, 3D views, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Create and update general 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate dimensions and equipment interfaces with mechanical and electrical modelers.
  • Produce technical and presentation renders.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent training in BIM, architectural drafting, mechanical drafting, industrial design, engineering, or a related field.
  • About 1–2 years of experience in BIM modeling, REVIT family creation, technical drafting, or visualization.
  • Intermediate knowledge of REVIT family creation, including parameters, materials, categories, visibility settings, and family types.
  • Ability to read drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to communicate in technical English and work under supervision.

Software Knowledge

  • Required: Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, D5 Render or Twinmotion, Microsoft Excel, and PDF review tools.
  • Preferred: Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
