We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to join OpenTable’s Global Partnerships team as Director. The Global Partnerships team at OpenTable is a small, high-performing, fast-paced team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving strategic partnerships aligned with the company’s growth plans. The ideal candidate will be hyper focused on implementing and managing partnerships that add strategic value to OpenTable’s consumer and restaurant business. This is a role with global scope and fit for an individual comfortable with both building strategy and driving execution.
In this role, you will:

Own end to end business development execution, with a particular focus on international growth markets

Create a strategy and OKRs, and plan to build out a pipeline for long term prospects across the relevant partnership ecosystem

Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional collaborators across product, engineering, marketing, legal and sales teams

Own and manage external partner relationships focused on meeting partnership timelines and critical metrics

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis as necessary to assess opportunities, make decisions, and influence collaborators

Prospect and evaluate various leads to determine how they might fit company goals

Structure partnerships that increase exposure for OpenTable and accelerate user growth worldwide

Provide regular communications to senior management on partnerships strategy and results
Please apply if you have:

BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles

Proven success in developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive business growth

Demonstrated track record working with product, engineering, sales and marketing teams to develop partnerships that deliver growth, brand exposure, and creative benefits for users

Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills

Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a broad range of partnerships such as strategic alliances, joint ventures, channel partnerships, and client relationships
- Experience with payment business and payment service provider partnerships a must

Deep understanding of the SaaS and restaurant technology landscape a plus

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Self-starter with strong financial analysis, modeling, and business skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly. Is honest, open, and thoughtful in word and in action

Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency around delivering on goals

EQUITY ELIGIBLE
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this remote United States based role is $165,000-$180,000.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus, equity grant; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
