ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Advertising Account Manager to join our Paid Media team, which leads strategy, execution, and optimization across digital and traditional channels. From Meta and Google Ads to programmatic, streaming, and out-of-home, the team designs, launches, and refines campaigns that meet clients’ KPIs - from brand awareness to conversion.

In this role, you’ll lead cross-channel advertising campaigns from strategy through reporting, manage client relationships, and drive results through analytical insights and creative thinking. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at balancing both client strategy and day-to-day execution within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position is ideal for someone with 3-4 years of relevant experience in digital advertising and media management who’s ready to contribute to a dynamic team that blends strategy, creativity, and performance to deliver measurable impact.

Role location: This role is available within one of our offices in New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. on a hybrid basis. The team is in-office at least 3 days per week.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Advertising Account Manager on the Paid Media team, you will be responsible for:

Advertising Strategy & Technical Expertise

  • Develop multi-channel advertising strategies and media plans from scratch based on client goals and KPIs.
  • Oversee campaign setup, management, and optimization across Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, Programmatic, CTV, OOH, Direct Partnerships and other emerging channels.
  • Lead or review the creation of insightful client reports, identifying actionable data points that contribute to strategic recommendations.
  • Translate campaign data into qualitative insights to inform creative and targeting optimizations.
  • Stay up to date on digital advertising trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in ad trafficking, pixel setup, and conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4).
  • Partner with design and content teams to ensure creative assets follow platform best practices and support campaign strategy.

Client Management & Account Coordination

  • Build strong, trusting client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and reliable follow-through.
  • Lead or support client meetings, present findings, and collaborate to solve problems with a focus on strategic outcomes.
  • Manage up and across teams, ensuring updates and priorities are clearly communicated via Slack, email, and project tools.
  • Develop and maintain work plans, ensuring priorities align with timelines and team goals, and that deliverables meet established deadlines.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs between strategy, design, and analytics functions to maintain project momentum.
  • Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented team culture; demonstrate a willingness to help and an ability to problem-solve creatively.

Essential skills:

  • 3-4+ years of experience planning, buying, and executing digital advertising campaigns.
  • Hands-on keyboard experience buying in Meta, Google Ads and/or LinkedIn
    • Experience in programmatic platforms a plus but not required
  • Proven track record managing multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills:

  • Agency experience managing multi-channel campaigns.

WORKING AT ORCHESTRA

Compensation philosophy: Orchestra offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $80,000-$95,000
