ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager, Talent Programs to join our Talent Team. In this role, you will lead the design, hiring strategy, and operations for key talent programs across the organization — including early career initiatives, freelance hiring, and other strategic workforce pathways.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and is passionate about building scalable, equitable, and high-impact talent programs. You will own full-cycle recruitment while also driving program strategy and operational excellence, working cross-functionally with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to create structured, effective pathways into and across the organization.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis, in-office 3 days per week.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, Talent Programs, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for talent programs across Orchestra, including internships, fellowships, freelance engagements, and entry-level roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure structured, equitable interview processes tailored to program-specific hiring needs
  • Oversee program operations, ensuring seamless coordination from intake through offer and onboarding
  • Build and maintain diverse pipelines of high-potential candidates through targeted outreach, partnerships, and proactive sourcing strategies
  • Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout
  • Identify opportunities to improve talent program processes and build sustainable, scalable systems as programs evolve
  • Create resources and toolkits to support hiring managers with best practices across program-based hiring
  • Identify and maintain relationships with recruitment and talent partners (e.g., universities, training programs, freelance networks, industry organizations)

Essentials skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruiting, program management, talent operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing structured hiring programs (e.g., early-career programs, freelance programs, fellowships, high-volume recruitment, or similar talent initiatives)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional approach
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) and collaboration tools
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal teams, and represent Orchestra and the Talent team externally and internally with thoughtfulness and professionalism
  • A passion for building equitable, accessible, and high-impact talent pathways

WORKING AT ORCHESTRA

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $90,000 - $120,000
