ABOUT THE ROLE

Orchestra is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead organic social media efforts across our brand channels. Sitting on the Marketing team, this role will be instrumental in bringing Orchestra’s voice and story to life across platforms, showcasing our people, culture, and work and impact with clients. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and curating compelling posts and visuals, developing and executing a cohesive content strategy, managing daily publishing and engagement, and using data to continually refine performance.

The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and strategist, someone who can plan from scratch, move seamlessly between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution, and ensure Orchestra’s social presence reflects the creativity, expertise, and innovation of our company and collective of brands.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. Orchestra staff are in office 3 days per week.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As the Social Media Manager, you will…

  • Create, curate, and publish engaging posts, stories, and videos that reflect Orchestra’s voice and culture
  • Develop and manage the content calendar across Orchestra’s social platforms
  • Capture and edit in-the-moment content at events and in-office, producing photography, video, and other visual assets that showcase Orchestra’s culture and work
  • Conceptualize and execute campaigns that highlight staff, culture,, and company milestones
  • Bring creative ideas and trends to life, experimenting with formats to grow reach and engagement
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across channels
  • Track growth, engagement, and other performance metrics; benchmark against industry standards
  • Use insights to set campaign goals, optimize content, and inform strategy
  • Monitor trends and emerging platforms, applying insights to keep Orchestra’s social presence fresh and relevant

Qualifications

  • 4 years of  experience developing and managing social media campaigns for a brand or agency, B2B experience preferred
  • Strong visual sensibility and  graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Proven experience managing content for social media platforms, including Orchestra’s current channels (LinkedIn and Instagram), with a point of view on expanding into and growing additional platforms such as TikTok, Threads, and YouTube
  • Familiarity with best practices, audience expectations, and trends on these platforms, and the ability to identify opportunities for expanding reach and engagement
  • Skilled writer with the ability to adapt tone across platforms
  • Proficiency with content management tools such as HubSpot or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and own outcomes
  • Deep understanding of and enthusiasm for digital culture, trends, and platform nuances

WORKING AT ORCHESTRA

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $70,000-$90,000
