Purpose of Position
Pantheon Ventures is seeking a high-calibre Business Manager to join our Change Office, to provide strategic and day-to-day support to the Head of Change and the wider Change team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape, drive, and sustain firm-wide change initiatives in an industry-leading private markets firm.
The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating & supporting change efforts across functions, ensuring robust governance, partnership and execution discipline. The ideal candidate is proactive, has strong communication, inter-personal skills and organizational skills and embraces a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
Key Responsibilities
Business Manager Responsibilities
- Owns coordination and publication of Change portfolio reporting (e.g. portfolio dashboards, RAIDs)
- Partners across the Change Office and peer functions to support program level reporting
- Coordinates and supports maintenance of portfolio & program budgets, in partnership with Finance partners
- Supports Change Office governance forums including defining agendas, material preparation, minute taking and follow-ups
- Supports preparation and coordination of Change Office presentations (e.g. townhalls, Exco, Sr. Leadership, Partners, Change Network)
- Manages new initiative request pipeline and oversight
- Owns and maintains Change Office Handbook
- Identifies and implements efficiency and/or innovative opportunities to enhance Change Office processes
- Owns and maintains Change Office Pulse site
- Supports defining and execution of Change communication strategy
- Supports Head of Change with ad hoc initiatives and day-to-day management of the team
