SUMMARY:
Perry Ellis International is seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Account Executive to support the Rafaella sales team. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency across sales accounts by ensuring timely and accurate order management, maintaining effective communication with internal and external partners, and supporting all aspects of the sales process - from line review to shipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the Sr. Account Executive to manage all aspects of brand operations across all customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time PO deliveries.
- Communicate daily with internal teams (Operations, Logistics, Sourcing, and Merchandising) and external retail partners to resolve order issues quickly and efficiently.
- Own all PO and IT tracking, keeping open order reports current and accurate, and coordinating any delivery changes with sales and customer partners.
- Manage digital accounts by ensuring timely VLL (Virtual Line List) submission and tracking that styles are live on site.
- Own order entry and follow through.
- Generate inventory availability reports, including style details and images.
- Support with showroom organization, and sample management; set up and assist with line reviews and market appointments.
- Analyze retailer sales to identify key trends, drive incremental sales, and find opportunities in the market.
- Create and distribute sales tools and presentations (assortment decks, line sheets, sample photos) for account meetings.
- Monitor sales performance and inventory reports to identify business trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to achieving internal goals and KPIs through proactive communication and collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in wholesale, retail, or account management (fashion/apparel industry preferred)
- Strong Excel, Google Workspace, and retail math skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in presenting to both internal and external partners.
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $70,000 - $80,000.
