International Trade Compliance Intern - Spring 2025
Internship Summary
Are you looking for an internship that provides real life experience?
Phoenix Contact’s Compliance International Trade and Supply Chain Services Team is looking for an International Trade Compliance Spring 2025 Intern to learn about trade compliance, rules and regulations in international trade, and the role of trade compliance in global logistics. In this role, the intern will be assisting the trade compliance team with daily tasks and activities, participating in projects and working with other departments on data collection, analysis and internal audit activities.
Our Spring interns work part-time. The intern has the possibility to continue the internship into Summer 2025.
What does a typical day look like?
Working closely with the mentor on daily tasks and projects. Some examples of the tasks/ projects are:
- auditing/ processing invoices,
- assisting with internal import and export audits,
- helping with trade compliance SOPs and manual, etc.

Must-Have Qualifications
- International Finance, International Business, or International Law majors
- Problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Applying material learned in school to work on trade compliance projects
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- Must be a current student
Must Be Able To
- Must be able to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours)
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (2-4 hours at a time)
