The Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to deliver various projects across the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for taking requirements from our Product Development team and leading the design and development of both changes to existing features and new features in the Salesforce environment involving Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other integrations.

You will develop custom applications, Apex and web components, to implement scalable solutions in collaboration with other Salesforce administrators and development teams across the Pico organisation.

You will participate in sprint planning and estimation, and daily scrum meetings to report progress and resolve any issues. You will ensure high quality delivery with automated unit tests and manual integration testing in our UAT environment.

 

Required Skills

• Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components
• Experience with the Salesforce data model and environment
• Experience with RESTful web services including Salesforce APIs
• Automated unit-testing and integration testing
• Knowledge of UI design principles, web standards and cross browser capabilities
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, Application Architect, CPQ Administrator
• Experience with automated build systems and SCM systems incl. GIT

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – able to propose several viable solutions to complex problems and be able to evaluate the best alternative and estimate the work required
• Have excellent communication skills – you can make clear and meaningful contributions to white board design discussions and offer innovative solutions to complex problems as well as contribute insights from past experiences.
• Able to offer concise and regular updates on progress and can highlight issues that might affect progress to allow preventative action to be taken

 

Working Arrangements 

This is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
