Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking an Associate Product Engineer for our Redline team, who will be responsible for liaising with the QA Engineering team, enhancing our product suite, and supporting our trading applications. The role involves designing testing scenarios, automating tests, analyzing regression frameworks, and maintaining product licensing, with a focus on continuous development and improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the QA Engineering team to analyze and enhance product quality.
  • Document legacy procedures and present internal developer tools.
  • Design and automate testing scenarios using C/Java/Python.
  • Modify operating systems for product testing infrastructure.
  • Implement meta-changes to optimize AWS EC2 instance scheduling.
  • Develop streaming algorithms using AWS data APIs.
  • Coordinate product licenses with the customer-facing team.
  • Annually validate licensing server for accessibility.
  • Maintain and update the product release pipeline.
  • Collaborate with product architects for manual testing.
  • Leverage UAT connections for seamless deployment.
  • Integrate Atlassian tools into automated testing infrastructure.
  • Provide real-time CI support to developers.
  • Report and document product failures and develop solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
  • Experience with testing scenarios using C/Java/Python.
  • Familiarity with AWS data storage and virtual machine APIs.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian tools like Bamboo, Jira, and Bitbucket.
  • Strong analytical skills for regression framework performance.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Working Arrangements

This is a hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).

Salary Rang:

$80,000-$125,000
