About the Role

As a part of the Data Enrichment team at Podium, you’ll be responsible for researching and compiling critical business data that powers our sales and operations teams. As a Data Enrichment Specialist, you will work from structured lists of companies and enrich those records by finding key business information through online research.
You will be expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, meet deadlines reliably, and maintain a high standard of data accuracy. This role is perfect for individuals who are internet-savvy, methodical, and comfortable working in spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research companies based on a provided list using publicly available data sources.
  • Identify and extract specific business information (e.g., number of locations, website status, executive names, etc.).
  • Enter and maintain data in structured Google Sheets templates.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all enriched data.
  • Work within set deadlines while managing multiple enrichment projects.
  • Communicate clearly with project leads about progress, blockers, or data challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong internet research skills and ability to vet sources for reliability.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets (including basic formulas, filters, and formatting).
  • High attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or incomplete data.
  • Ability to follow structured processes while adapting to different enrichment use cases.
  • Strong time management and reliability in meeting deadlines.
  • English proficiency for reading and understanding business-related content.

Nice to Have (but not required)

  • Prior experience in data entry, research, or lead generation roles.
  • Familiarity with business directories (e.g., LinkedIn, Yelp, Crunchbase).
  • Understanding of business categories (e.g., retail, automotive, home services).
