- Job Title: Channel Development Manager, Casual Play
- Job Summary: As the Channel Development Manager for Casual Play in K12 Education, you will forge strong partnerships with education districts to create Pokémon Clubs in K12 schools, including school libraries. Your goal is to attract new young fans and deepen engagement with existing ones by connecting with them in their everyday environments.

What You’ll Do:

Develop Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with education districts and other educational organizations to create opportunities for acquiring new young fans and players in K12 schools.

Manage Pokémon Clubs: Recruit, develop, and oversee partnerships to drive the adoption and growth of Pokémon Clubs, ensuring high retention and customer satisfaction within K12 schools in the United States and Canada.

Strategic Collaboration: Work towards mutual goals to build awareness and support for the Pokémon Club network within educational settings.

Analyze Trends: Evaluate program trends and provide insights and recommendations to enhance market performance.

Forecasting & Analysis: Conduct KPI analyses and long-range forecasting to identify potential partnerships with education districts and other educational organizations.

Program Evaluation: Monitor and assess the impact of Pokémon Clubs in schools and their success in the educational marketplace.

Competitive Strategy: rack competitor activity and implement strategies to maintain retention and achieve best-in-class status for school-based Pokémon Clubs.

Event Participation: Attend key educational events and conferences to connect with partner organizations, educators, and school administrators.

Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with program and organizational goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively across teams to ensure stakeholder alignment and promote school-based Pokémon Club attendance.

Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to casual play channel partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Organized Play Collaboration: Collaborate on Organized Play programming to ensure goal and execution alignment within school environments.
What You’ll Bring:

Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in partner and program management, preferably within educational settings.

Program Operations Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of how afterschool programs are implemented within the educational system and/or familiarity with organized play activities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Market Success: Ability to deliver results in diverse markets.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

People Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $105,000 - $125,000 per year. The full range is $105,000 - $157,000 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
