We seek a Software Engineer to join our team and deliver excellent service for a leading global SaaS company with millions of users. You will engage with customers, both technical and non-technical, on a personal level. Familiarity with key languages like JavaScript, Node.js, and PHP is highly valued. About the team:

At API Builder, our vision is to transform the way people Design and Prototype their APIs. We are one of the New Product Incubation teams within Postman, trying to bring new ideas to market by deeply understanding our customer's needs and iterating fast.

If you are aware of API Schemas like OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, gRPC etc., and love Postman Collections, this is an opportunity to build an API Designer that works closely with Collections and these specifications to help customers design good and secure APIs in collaboration with other developers.

For you, this is an opportunity to be an early member of a team that owns and delivers a product which will be used by millions of Developers and business professionals worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the team-level architecture and work across teams to improve the performance and stability of the features

  • Be an integral contributor to roadmap planning, coordinating with all stakeholders to align our products with strategic goals.

  • Identify and champion initiatives that drive architectural improvement and innovation.

  • Offer technical leadership and mentorship to your fellow engineers by sharing best practices and elevating our collective expertise to deliver

About You:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in building Desktop and/or Web Applications and are proficient with React.Js, Javascript/Typescript etc.

  • You have worked on improving the performance, reliability and stability of Web Applications. Knowledge of related debugging and APM tools is a plus.

  • You communicate clearly and listen effectively. You seek new perspectives and build trust with your colleagues

  • You love the challenge of constraints and excel at finding creative solutions

  • You take ownership of problems, not solutions, and celebrate success as a team
