The opportunity

 

At Postman, our Sales Enablement team is responsible for arming our sales team with the necessary tools and knowledge to proficiently sell Enterprise and close new logos. From creating sales training and collateral to offering unwavering support and guidance, we're committed to equipping our GTM teams with everything they need to achieve unparalleled success.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Develop enablement strategies that empower the Account Development team to excel in demand generation, lead qualification, and seamless handoffs to the sales team, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality opportunities
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales leadership to align enablement programs with company goals and ensure they address the specific needs of the Account Development team across global markets.
  • Train the Account Development team on using data-driven insights, personalization tactics, and automation tools to improve engagement and drive higher response rates.
  • Track the effectiveness of enablement initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously refine programs based on feedback and performance data
  • Develop a structured approach to analyze and identify repeatable and successful Account Development strategies.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and cross-functional partnerships to enhance Account Development effectiveness.
  • Utilize your expertise in tools like Gong and Highspot to implement best practices, streamline sales engagement, and improve the efficiency of global Account Development initiatives.
  • Apply your knowledge of sales methodologies and processes to ensure enablement programs are aligned with the buyer’s journey, helping the Account Development team engage prospects effectively at every stage

  • Your competencies include excellent presentational, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills

What You've Done:

  • You possess 2+ years experience designing and implementing sales enablement programs in a global software SaaS environment 
  • You have successfully developed and executed Account Development training programs that have measurably improved performance and contributed to revenue growth
  • You have experience using data and KPIs to evaluate the success of enablement initiatives and make informed decisions to optimize future programs
  • You have fostered a collaborative and results-driven team culture, leading to increased productivity, innovation, and the successful execution of global Account Development enablement initiatives
  • You have demonstrated experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and turning implications into actionable recommendations and business strategies

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of enabling Account Development teams across multiple regions and cultures
  • You understand and have practiced sales methodologies
  • You have experience with sales engagement tools such as Gong and Highspot
  • You have experience with start-up cultures
  • Experience using Postman and/or developer tools

What Else?

This role is based remotely in the San Francisco Bay area or Boston, MA area, and the reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, potential spot awards, and a monthly lunch stipend.
