The Opportunity
We’re looking for self-motivated team members who crave a challenge, are obsessed with moving/monitoring metrics that go up and to the right, and want to work on one of the most loved developer products in the world. This Senior PMM feels motivated by being a “do-er”. You thrive in a scrappy environment, have “been there, done that”, and are confident in your ability to partner effectively with field teams to build enterprise programs from scratch.
As a competitive product marketer obsessed with market dynamics and customer needs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our solution becomes an indispensable asset to enterprises worldwide. You will relentlessly analyze competitor movements, identify market opportunities, and craft compelling narratives that showcase our unique value. Working cross-functionally, you'll drive competitive intelligence programs that shape product strategy, empower our sales organization, and reinforce Postman’s position in the market.
What You’ll Do
- Own and maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence program, including competitor tracking, analysis, and insights distribution
- Develop compelling competitive positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market
- Create and maintain competitive battle cards, comparison guides, and other sales enablement materials
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to gather and analyze competitive insights from market interactions
- Lead win/loss analysis program to identify competitive trends and recommend strategic adjustments
- Present competitive insights and recommendations to executive leadership
- Train sales teams on competitive positioning and handling competitive objections
- Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging competitors and opportunities
About You
- 6-8 years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years focused on competitive intelligence
- Proven track record of developing effective competitive strategies and programs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience working directly with enterprise sales teams
This role is remotely based in the United States of America, and the reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $124,865.00 to $208,150.00, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
